General The 'LID-Match' software has been designed for the numerical just as the visual comparison of Luminous intensity distribution curves (LID). General features of 'LID–Match' are: - numerical and visual comparison of Luminous intensity distribution curves - quantifying the differences between LIDs by local and global distance measures - optional preprocessing operations (mean LID, smoothing, rotation) - semi-automatic coordinate alignment of the Reference- and the actual LID - optional adaptation of the luminous fluxes or the luminous intensities - 3D-Visualization of the LIDs and the LID-differences - several variants of the colour coding of the light intensity differences (surface mapping of differences) - logging of the results The use of the functionality of the LID comparison program requires a valid license. In the case of an invalid license, the program can only be used to read the manual and display the LID data. The type of the license is a computer-bound multi-user license. For the production of a license the software must be installed on the target machine. After starting the software the user has to create a request file by pressing the buttons "MANAGE LICENSE..." of the main dialogue and "CREATE LICENSE REQUEST..." of the following dialogue. The request file contains information about the license and the hardware of the computer. The request information has to send to rigo@technoteam.de by email. On the basis of the request file the company TechnoTeam generates a license setup file. This file installs the license on your target computer. It's possible to generate a license setup file which provides an evaluation period of 100 days with fully functionality of LID-Match. With a purchase, licenses for up to 3 computers can be requested. Installation The user must be an administrator for this. The setup file installs the 'LID Match' software plus an ActiveX module for display of spectral data. Spectral data are an optional part of TechnoTeam luminous intensity distributions (* .ttl). The installation of the 'LID Match' software can also be done without administrative privileges. Without administrative privileges, however, an installation of the ActiveX module is not possible and as a result is not possible to display spectral data by the 'LID Match' software. A LID Match license is installed using the license setup file 'LicenseSetup-LID-Match.exe'. The setup file copies the license file LID-Match.tlf into the application's installation directory. The license file can also be manually copied to the application's installation directory. Release notes V 1.3.0 - 3D display of the absolute differences did not work correctly. - Fixed: alignment error (in certain rare cases). V 1.2.4 - Error message 'LID with luminous flux <= 0' when saving a correct differential LID eliminated. - Fixed: TTL files older than 2016 could no longer be loaded. V 1.2.3 - Crash when calling the horseshoe diagram with the details-button. The horseshoe chart was not displayed in certain cases. V 1.1.10 - Preprocessing is now also available at the reference-LID - Some minor bug fixes: - Wrong or missing translations of dialogue controls - Percent is the right unit of relative errors to reference-LID intensities V 1.1.9 - The comparison can now be calculated on a limited evaluation range of the LID. V 1.1.6 - License management simplified: Licenses can now be installed via dialogue. - Some minor bug fixes: - Aligned LIDs and reference LIDs calculated as averaging have always been saved as ttl (with incorrect file extension) regardless of the format selected. - Mapped LIDs could also be mistakenly saved as non-TTL files. - Menu item Info | Details of the 3D window did not work. V 1.1.5 - Differences and absolute differences are shown in two new windows in relation to the luminous intensity values of the reference-LID. In order to avoid extreme large relative differences in the case of small luminous intensities of the reference-LID, these differences are excluded from the display by a small threshold. The threshold is dialogue based adjustable via the context pop-up menu as an absolute value (light intensity) or as a relative value (relative to the maximum of the reference-LID). - License installation procedure has been changed.
